END USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

1. THE APPLICATION

FOLKLOG: Bedtime Stories is a digital storytelling platform created to help children reconnect with their cultural heritage and roots through curated stories:

• Bedtime stories for kids: Designed to help children relax and drift off to sleep.
• Short bedtime stories: Quick tales ideal for busy evening routines.
• Educational stories: Moral lessons about honesty, kindness, and bravery.
• Folk tales: Timeless narratives from across India and ancient traditions.
• Audio stories: High-quality audio narrations in both Hindi and English.

The Application is customized for iOS and Android mobile devices. The Licensed Application is not tailored to comply with industry-specific regulations such as HIPAA, FISMA, or GLBA.

2. SCOPE OF LICENSE

2.1 You are given a non-transferable, non-exclusive, non-sublicensable license to install and use the Licensed Application on any Devices that You own or control as permitted by the Usage Rules, except via Family Sharing or volume purchasing.

2.2 This license governs any updates provided by Licensor that replace or supplement the original Licensed Application.

2.3 You may not share, sell, rent, lease, or redistribute the Licensed Application to third parties without prior written consent.

2.4 You may not reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, modify, or attempt to derive the source code of the Licensed Application.

2.5 You may not copy or alter the Licensed Application, except for creating standard backup copies on devices You own or control.

2.6 Any violations of these obligations may be subject to legal prosecution and damages.

2.7 Licensor reserves the right to modify licensing terms and conditions.

3. TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS

3.1 The Licensed Application requires a firmware version of iOS 13.4 or Android equivalent or higher. Licensor recommends using the latest OS version.

3.2 Licensor attempts to keep the Application updated for new firmware and hardware versions; however, You are not automatically entitled to claim such updates.

3.3 It is Your responsibility to ensure Your device satisfies the necessary technical specifications.

3.4 Licensor reserves the right to modify technical requirements at any time.

4. MAINTENANCE AND SUPPORT

4.1 The Licensor is solely responsible for providing maintenance and support services for this Licensed Application.

4.2 Apple and Google have no obligation whatsoever to furnish maintenance or support services with respect to the Licensed Application.

5. USE OF DATA

You acknowledge that Licensor will be able to access and use information and data according to the FolkLog Privacy Policy.

Licensor may periodically collect technical diagnostic information about your device, system, and application software to facilitate updates, product support, and continuous improvements.

6. USER-GENERATED CONTRIBUTIONS

If the Application offers opportunities to submit reviews, comments, or feedback ("Contributions"), you represent and warrant that your contributions are original, non-infringing, non-defamatory, and compliant with all applicable laws and child protection standards.

7. CONTRIBUTION LICENSE

You retain full ownership of any feedback or contributions submitted. By providing suggestions or reviews, You grant Licensor the right to use and share such feedback for product improvements without compensation.

8. LIABILITY

8.1 Licensor's responsibility for breach of obligations shall be limited to intent and gross negligence, and strictly to typical, foreseeable contractual damages.

8.2 Licensor takes no accountability for data losses resulting from modified, manipulated, or unauthorized versions of the application.

9. WARRANTY

9.1 Licensor warrants that the application is free of viruses, trojans, or malware at the time of download.

9.2 No warranty applies if the Application is manipulated, installed on incompatible or jailbroken hardware, or used improperly.

9.3 In the event of any warranty non-conformity, You may notify the App Store or Play Store operator for a purchase refund to the extent permitted by law.

10. PRODUCT CLAIMS

Folklogue Studios Pvt Ltd, and not the Services (Apple/Google), is responsible for addressing any claims relating to product liability, legal compliance, or consumer protection.

11. LEGAL COMPLIANCE

You represent and warrant that You are not located in a country subject to government embargoes or designated as a restricted territory, and that You are not listed on any government list of prohibited parties.

13. TERMINATION

The license remains valid until terminated. Your rights under this license terminate automatically if You fail to adhere to any terms. Upon termination, You must cease all use and delete all copies of the Licensed Application.

14. THIRD-PARTY TERMS OF AGREEMENTS AND BENEFICIARY

You must comply with applicable third-party terms of agreement when using the Application. Apple and Google, and their subsidiaries, are recognized third-party beneficiaries of this Agreement and have the right to enforce its terms against You.

15. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS

In the event of any third-party claim that the Licensed Application infringes on third-party intellectual property rights, Folklogue Studios Pvt Ltd will be solely responsible for the investigation, defense, settlement, and discharge of such claims.

16. APPLICABLE LAW

This License Agreement is governed by the laws of India, excluding its conflict of law principles.

17. MISCELLANEOUS

17.1 If any term of this agreement becomes invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

17.2 Any amendments, modifications, or waivers of these terms must be documented in writing.
